Petition: Bring back post office and banking services to Dodworth

We, the undersigned residents of Dodworth, call on Post Office Ltd and Cash Access UK to restore a Post Office and bring a banking hub to our community. Dodworth has been left without a permanent Post Office since 2019, and a weekly pop-up service at Dodworth Library has also ceased. Residents now have to travel out of the village to access in-person postal and banking services — a particular burden for older people and anyone without easy transport. Delays in the post are also causing real harm to local residents, who have missed NHS appointments and test results because letters haven't arrived on time. This isn't a minor inconvenience. It's a gap in essential local infrastructure that Post Office Ltd and Cash Access UK have the power to close.
